It has been 10 years since that fateful day – the 9/11 attacks on the United States - and, for the 9th year in a row, the Patriots Run (PatriotsRun.US) will have runners participating from both the US and Abroad. Soldiers in Afghanistan will be swapping their boots for running shoes showing a United Front against Terrorism while local runners will participate in a 9 hour and 11 minute run at the Great Mall of the Great Plains starting at noon on 9/11/11.
